Holds an important position in the super busy sea route between India and China in the south-western coast of Malaysia, Melaka contested for centuries by the Indian government, the Portuguese, British and Dutch. This makes the city so attractive packaged by Malaysia both in terms of architecture or culture because it is a valuable cultural heritage.
Known as a diverse mix of cultures, Melaka is composed of several districts, each of which features a different attraction. Portuguese heritage marked by a charming villa, a historic church and the remains of the old fort.
In China there are temples Chinese quarter is the temple Cheng Hoon Teng and as well as one of the largest Chinese cemetery outside China. Dutch District Dutch left some architectural relics on the east side. In addition, each zone has a culture of its own traditions and festivals such as the Portuguese "Intrudu" and Chinese New Year.
